This is a one-of-a-kind origami inspired earring and necklace set. The cranes and necklace beads are made with a speciality Japanese Yuzen paper of blue tones. Other materials include Hematite beads, Argentium silver and paper beads. Each origami crane consists of 18 folds from a 1.25" square piece of paper. The papers are coated with a polycrylic medium for added durabiity and to provide moisture resistance.

Japanese Yuzen paper is also known as Chiyogami paper. It is known for its bright and intense colors and gold and silver silk-screened overlays. The papers are handcrafted by artists in Japan. The designs are inspired by Kimono fabric.
