Bird on Textured Terracotta Dish

This one of a kind dish features a bird resting on the edge of a terracotta dish that is hand formed, textured and glazed by the artist. Terracotta clay absorbs moisture so it's recommended not to place food on it. It is NOT food safe. It's perfect for wrapped candy or wrapped food items. It could function as a spoon rest as long as the spoon is kept on the glazed surfaces.
